News and Reminders

Well, 2014 feels like it’s off to a good start! I’m excited about these 4 upcoming shows with Jenna, who is not only a talented musician and songwriter but is one of the most joyful people I’ve ever met.

Our goats are chubby and happy and the chickens are laying twelve to twenty eggs a day! Let me know if you need eggs.

In April, I’m heading to Nashville to a songwriting workshop with one of my favorite songwriters, Mary Gauthier! It will be an intimate group of 20 participants.

I spent a day in the studio this week preparing to start work on my next CD…fine tuning songs and thinking about arrangements. The new songs I’m writing are a mix a personal story songs and my observations of the world around me. I hope to start recording in March or April!

In May, I’m hoping to attend the Southeast Regional Folk Alliance Conference in Montreat, NC. I’ve decided to make this my first big music conference because it’s not TOO big. I figure I’ll learn the ropes here then move on to the much larger Northeast Folk Alliance Conference in the fall.

All of these opportunities and experiences feel like they are magically falling into place, validating my decision this past summer to give up my job as a geologist and become a full-time musician. I’m grateful to all of you for your encouragement and support.

I hope to see you at a show soon!

Hello, Thank you so much for visiting! I hope that you will come out to enjoy a show. I sincerely appreciate your interest in live music!
